knew where she was.

At around midnight, cr ying in my husband' s arms, we de cide d to call the

They informed us that they do ever y thing they can to {nd her, bu t they
can't promise any thing…
The statistics didn't help either…
One child goes missing ever y 40 minutes in the USA …
And the {rst 24 hours are critical, and after that, the rate of sur vival for the
child goes down drastically…
After 72 hours, the missing person is almost always de ad…
“ We’ll call you if we {nd her,” the of cers said.
What they didn’t say was if she would be de ad or alive when they found her.
